The second pricing method is the fee per pulse. The laser equipment used in the procedure emits laser light which is called 'pulse' in general terms. Some clinics take into account the number of pulses or rays that comes into play while removing the hair and charge the fee based on the number of pulses. This method of pricing is very advantageous as you need to pay for as much hair you have. Also with successive sessions of hair removal there will be a decline in the number of hair and thus the cost of treatment also.

Another pricing method used for laser hair removal is treatment time. This type of treatment method is very similar to the pricing structure used in electrolysis treatments. Here some laser clinics will charge for period of time required in the whole procedure. Say, a woman wants her hair removed from legs and the clinic charges $100 for 15 minutes. Now if the whole treatment takes 1 hour, she would pay $400.

This type of pricing structure for determining laser hair removal cost is not preferred by many people. This is because a number of other factors that is not controlled by the patient also comes into play like the speed of laser hair removal equipment, speed of laser hair removal technician and also the amount of hair to be removed.
